Story of my ride: cycling in Sydney after the rain – impact of the ocean, eastern suburbs beaches

This is NOT a product review. It is a tourist ride in Sydney, visiting a few beaches after a day of carnage caused by the ocean in seaside suburbs of my town. It is a 'travelogue' – or #RideDiary – about one fine day after a month of extreme rain. It is a chance for me to show of some of the great views during a 75km jaunt on a lovely morning ride early on the first Sunday of April 2022, aka. ‘Ronde van Vlaanderen Dag'.

Excuse my poor Dutch commentary that popped up while considering the RVV that was soon to be contested.

(Note: it just happened to be that MVDP did go on to win the race, while wearing his signature edition Oakley Sutro ... albeit his were a different, new colour scheme than what you see here.)

This is the story of my ride around Sydney's eastern suburbs on Sunday 3 April 2022.
