2002 Pacific Typhoon Season Animation

Animation of the 2002 Western Pacific Typhoon Season.
The 2002 season featured four Category 5 storms - Fengshen, Hagibis, Higos, and Mitag.
The deadliest storm was Typhoon Rusa, which killed 233. At $4.2 billion, Rusa was also the costliest storm. Typhoon Kammuri was the most destructive storm, affecting 264,000 buildings. Typhoon Rusa dumped 898mm of rainfall, the highest of the season.
