Forest-dwelling Hartlaub's Duck - Ghana birding tours

There is nothing more exciting than when you unexpectedly turn a corner in dense lowland forest and happen into a great sighting of a scarce bird. Well, that is exactly what happened here, when Dylan and his group turned a corner in Ghana, and found this stunning Hartlaub's Duck perched up above a pond drying itself off. What a great sighting!
