Nabi Tajima, Oldest Person in the World Dies at 117
The world's oldest person has died. Nabi Tajima of Japan lived to be 117 years old. She was born on August 4th, 1900 and is the last known person to be born in the 19th century. She was named world's oldest person seven months ago and a celebration was held to mark the occasion. Officials in her town say she died of old age in a hospital.
