Pigtail Catheter Placement for Traumatic Pneumothorax

In this video we demonstrate how to insert a pigtail catheter into the left chest of a patient with a traumatic pneumothorax. Pigtail catheters are markedly less painful for the patient to be inserted through the chest wall. This video demonstrates that point as well as the technique for inserting one of these catheters.
