Air Scrubbing Calculations for SARs-CoV-2 Virus
We needed some help. We were advised that we needed to run the air scrubber in our emergency department room for 2 hours after a suspected COVID-19 patient had been in the room. This was causing us to lose rooms for over two hours before terminal clean was carried out. This did not seem right and we turned to our nerdy side to figure out for ourselves how long we needed to run our HEPA Filter Air Scrubbers. Glad we did. Now, it is only 15 minutes and the room can undergo terminal clean.
