In this episode of Flying Failures, we go back to prior to World War II, where in an attempt to fight back against rapidly evolving bomber technology, the Bell Company sought to create what was essentially a flying anti-aircraft platform, and while it boasted many impressive facets, the practical realities of aviation mechanics at the time resulted in a heavy machine that was practically unflyable.
