The Snow Sirens of Montreal (Fascinating but Frustrating)

Snow removal is one of the most interesting and impressive parts of winter in Montreal. This city gets 210 cm of snow each year on average, which is almost double Toronto and five times as much as Vancouver. This requires a massive, synchronized operation to not just clear snow from streets but actually remove snow from neighbourhoods.
