How I Paint Things - Your First D&D Miniatures

A lot of D&D groups use miniatures in their games, and maybe you're looking at getting started with painting your own. It can seem like a minefield of choices, especially if you want them to look amazing straight from the first brushstroke. Try instead to concentrate on the basics, and you'll finish your first adventurer in no time! READ MORE:

As you'll see in the video, this miniature was finished with just five paints and a single shade. There's nothing to stop you from picking up a couple more you might like, of course! Another shout out goes to the lovely team at Hasslefree Miniatures over at http://www.hfminis.co.uk/ for their fantastic range and awesome service. Do check them out! I also managed to forget to mention the grey spray I used as the undercoat: UK-based folks can't beat Halford's grey primer, where US-based hobbyists should check out Krylon's range of primers.

How I Paint Things is a series of simple instructional videos designed to help the newcomer through some of the basics and demonstrate how the very simplest techniques can still give you some great results that're easily replicated. Aimed at the newcomer to painting miniatures, there might be one or two tips or tricks that help even you old hands!
