Donguri, Sweetest, Gentlest Capybara at Nagasaki Bio Park 最も甘い、穏やかなカピバラ

Donguri is the sweetest, most gentle Capybara at Nagasaki Bio Park. Often she won't even go over and get any watermelon because she doesn't want to be in a fight, or have her ear bitten. She is easy to identify as the 'little toe' on her left front paw is bent the wrong way. She was my favorite Capybara from early on and my impressions of her were later confirmed when her keeper said she was the sweetest Capybara.

She is also the mother or grandmother of 9 of the 15 capybaras in the petting enclosure. No doubt Nagasaki BP are keen to breed only to the sweetest, gentlest Capys
Here she is chewing a stone she picked up somewhere and seems very attached to. Capybaras like to chew on things; their teeth grow continuously so they need to keep them 'filed' down.
