Easy Tiramisu Recipe - Classic Italian Dessert - Eggless Tiramisu
This is a super easy tiramisu recipe. This classic Italian dessert is made with lady fingers dipped in coffee and mascarpone cheese and sprinkled with cocoa powder. This tiramisu is an eggless, no-bake cake, and better served chilled over a few hours in the fridge. This yummy and easy to make dessert is an all-time favorite sure to delight friends and family in any occasion.
Tiramisu Ingredients:
1 cup (240ml) Espresso ( 2 tbsp (11g) instant espresso + 1 cup water)
1 cup (240ml) whipping cream
1/2 cup (115g) sugar
8 oz (225g) mascarpone cheese
18-20 lady fingers
2 tbsp (15g) cocoa powder
Tiramisu Directions:
1 - Prepare the coffee by adding hot water to the instant coffee and then let it cool.
2 - Mix the whipping cream and the sugar together in a bowl.
3 - Whip up the cream and sugar together using an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
4 - Add the mascarpone cheese to the cream and continue to whip until the mascarpone and cream have smoothly mixed up.
5 - Dip the lady fingers in coffee and place them in a 6x10 inch pan to make the first layer. Do not soak the cookies too much otherwise they will fall apart, just a quick dip in the coffee is enough.
6 - Spread half of the cream mixture on top of the first lady fingers layer and repeat the process with the second layer of lady fingers and cream mixture.
7 - Cover the pan with food-grade plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours or overnight.
8 - Dust the top of the cake with cocoa powder using a sieve until it forms a uniform top layer.
