Swale Sailing Barge Match 2020 - The race that wasn't!

After all the traditional Thames barge sailing matches had been cancelled due to Covid, we were really pleased to hear that the Swale Match Committee decided to run the race at the end of August.

However, the forecast for the weekend was horrendous and so we set off from our home port at Lower Halstow for what turned out to be little more than a very wet overnight jolly to Harty Ferry!
