NO POWER picnic! Freeze Dried Food

no power picnic! freeze dried food is on the menu today. No ice, no power, no electricity, no refrigeration. We selected freeze dried picnic food needing none of these. Today, on our picnic, we are having freeze dried egg salad sandwiches, Freeze dried strawberries and blueberries, Freeze dried watermelon, freeze dried avocado and salsa (guacamole), freeze dried cottage cheese, freeze dried marshmallows and peaches and of course freeze dried dog food for the Pup! We are in a beautiful setting in Winterset, Iowa home of the bridges of Madison County. We are at the Cedar covered bridge.
