061324 MAGNOLIA FIRE FATAL

Just after 3 am, Montgomery County fire dispatchers received a call for a house fire with victims trapped in the 6700 block of South Trace Drive in Magnolia. Magnolia and Lake Conroe Fire units responded and found a two-story home fully involved. Firefighters called for additional tankers. During the blaze, a section of the rear of the house collapsed. Firefighters did locate a female in her 60s deceased in the rear of the home. The Montgomery County Fire Marshals Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
