Lucky Tiger Steamed Buns - celebrate lunar new year 2022

Tiger steamed Buns recipe:

Pumpkin 80g
All purpose flour 150g
Yeast 1/2tsp
Cold milk 3tbsp

Cocoa powder 1tsp
All purpose flour 2tbsp
Hot water 1tbsp

Annatto powder 1/2tsp
All purpose flour 1tbsp
Hot water 1tsp
Tips:
*do not let the dough proof or resting before shaping the dough to tiger in order to get a nice smooth surface of the dough. Start to make the tiger right after kneading the dough to smooth and elastic.

Shaping these tigers is very time consuming and we don't want the dough to rise too fast,
So make sure to use cold milk from the fridge to slow down the fermentation process
*you can substitute beets or any food colouring for annatto powder to get the red dough .
