Best Things to do in Honolulu Hawaii | HONOLULU, HAWAII TRAVEL VLOG

In this Honolulu, Hawaii travel vlog I will be showing you the best things to do in Honolulu Hawaii. Honolulu is home to a vibrant downtown life, the only Royal Palace in the United States, great restaurants, an incredible art district, and so much more. I would highly recommend taking a day to explore this beautiful city if you get a chance. .

To start off the day, I biked from Waikiki to Honolulu’s Chinatown, where I stopped at Sing Cheong Yuan Bakery for some delicious snacks. I absolutely love Chinese bakeries, and this one was really good! After breakfast, I walked around the various markets in downtown Honolulu. There are tons of markets in the area selling fruits, vegetables, seafood, and meats. There are even a few hidden restaurants inside the markets, which is where our next meal was. We ate some delicious fresh fish at Maguro Brothers, a tiny restaurant in the back of the seafood market (it was SO good!)

After fueling our bellies, we walked from Chinatown to the Iolani Palace. The Iolani Palace is also located in downtown Honolulu and is the ONLY Royal Palace in the United States. In the late 1800s when Hawaii was being ruled as a Kingdom, the Iolani Palace was used as a Royal Palace. However, now it is used as a Museum and a place for locals and tourists to explore and learn about Hawaiian history.

Across the street from the Iolani Palace is the Ali’Iolani Hale, which is another beautiful building in downtown Honolulu, and currently functions as the Hawaii State Supreme Court Building.

After walking around the Iolani Palace and the Ali’Iolani Hale, we walked to the Arts District in downtown Honolulu, which is located in the Kaka’ako neighborhood. The Kaka'ako neighborhood is home to tons of beautiful street art and Murals.

To end our day exploring Honolulu, we ate some delicious Vietnamese food at The Pig and Lady and capped off the night relaxing at the Aloha Beer Garden.
