WAIKIKI HAWAII VLOG | WHAT TO DO IN WAIKIKI HAWAII (this place is paradise!)
Aloha! In today’s Waikiki Hawaii Vlog, I will show you what to do in Waikiki Hawaii by spending a perfect day in this slice of Hawaiian Paradise! Waikiki is a beautiful area on the south shore of Honolulu on the island of Oahu. Waikiki is a great place to kick back and relax for a few days in Hawaii. It is home to beautiful white sand beaches with great waves for beginner surfers, tons of delicious restaurants and cafes, and beautiful streets lined with all kinds of cool shops.
To start off our day, we went to Kono’s for breakfast, which is a delicious spot in the center of Waikiki. Kono’s is most known for their Breakfast Bombers, which are different types of breakfast burritos.
After breakfast we went surfing at one of the many beaches in Waikiki. Surfing in Waikiki is perfect for beginners. The waves are relatively small and you are surfing in crystal clear blue water surrounded by Diamond Head and tons of skyscrapers.
After a great surf session, we walked about 20 minutes outside of central Waikiki to Ono Seafood, which is a great local spot to get some Poke. Ono Seafood has super fresh poke with a handful of different options. Next, we walked just a few minutes down the street to Leonard’s Bakery, which is an awesome bakery known for their Malasadas. Malasadas are very similar to donuts, except without the hole in the middle. They are delicious pieces of fried dough with sugar on the outside, and they sometimes even have a filling in the middle. Just a few minutes from Leonard’s is Waiola Shave Ice, which is another authentic Hawaiian dessert.
After all of this delicious food, we took a stroll around Waikiki. Waikiki is a great place to walk around with the ocean on one side and tons of shops, restaurants, and cafes on the other. Before dinner, we walked back to the beach to enjoy the famous Waikiki sunset. Watching sunset in Waikiki is absolutely beautiful. You can sit back and relax in the soft sand and watch the sun slowly lower in the distance over the ocean...it’s epic!
For dinner we went to Marukame Udon, which is a great restaurant in central Waikiki. They have great Udon soups as well as some delicious fried treats. To cap the night off, we stopped by one of the many ABC stores in Waikiki to get some snacks to enjoy back at our apartment.
I hope you all enjoyed this Waikiki Hawaii Vlog and now know what to do in Waikiki Hawaii to have your perfect day in paradise!
