A Path Towards Solutions - Panel 1 Lead by Antonio M. Romanucci

Romanucci & Blandin Principal and Partner, Antonio M. Romanucci moderates a panel at A Path Towards Solutions: A Summit on Curbing the Violence in Chicago. Hosted by the Chicago Bar Association, this summit discussed the many issues that contribute to the unprecedented levels of violence plaguing our city. Entitled "Reducing Violence by Improving the Relationship Between Law Enforcement and the Communities they Serve", Romanucci's panel included: Kim Foxx, Cook County State’s Attorney; Superintendent Eddie T. Johnson, Chicago Police Department; Pamela J. Meanes, Former President, National Bar Association; Partner, Thompson Coburn LLP; and Alderman Roderick T. Sawyer, City of Chicago, 6th Ward. Romanucci and the panel participants analyzed the relationship between law enforcement and the community to try and determine whether there exists a schism or fracture which must be bridged, and if so, how to repair it.
