*First day in service* - Abellio London ADL/BYD Enviro 400ev City working the 63 to Honor Oak.

Only a month after changing contract to Abellio, the 63 finally has its new electrics in service today. These new Walworth (WL) based units have quite a few unique touches like the high-backed seats across both decks, a small sunroof at the front of the upper deck and the wooden floors. Nine of them are in use with the full allocation likely to be in use by mid-January. This will allow the QB hybrids to return to their original base for the 156, 344 and 345.

First impressions of these new local buses are positive; super refined, really smooth and the new features are very cool but the iBus screen kept listing stops in the wrong direction when heading southbound (northbound wasn't an issue, weirdly) and the brakes were rather grabby. Maybe the drivers aren't used to them or it's a calibration issue.

Even so, I'm happy to have these buses on a local route of mine and it'll be interesting to see if they go on WL's other routes.
