The first of the 2014 ex-Brixton B5LH units have started work early at their new base, Norwood (N) after a refurbishment on its premier route, the 2. Connecting a lot of Central hotspots to Stockwell, Brixton and Tulse Hill, two of them have worked the route earning some mileage before starting work on the newly won 432 from 2nd April.

Really doesn't feel that long ago these buses were working the 59 and the 319, being the only units to have the 'bums on seats' readout next to the driver area. They then worked the 50, 133 and 333 for quite a while before the transfers and refurbishments. While eight of these LT63s are now rotting away on the 301 and 335 at Dartford (DT), the remaining are currently either here, Palmers Green (AD) on the 141 or Brixton (BN) prior to the aforementioned new contract.

I have always loved these units and the refurb is no exception. Comfortable and with a good turn of speed, this is one I'll happily take over the crap frogs any day. Wonder how common this working will be from April onwards.
