This was the eighth in a series of 19 weekly BBC radio broadcasts introduced by Sir John Betjeman - later Poet Laureate. It was broadcast on 14 January 1966 and features the choir of York Minster, directed by Francis Jackson, with assistant organist Ronald Perrin.
