"Green Grow the Rushes O" Carmelite Priory Boys' Choir, 1965 (McCarthy)
The Boys' Choir of the Carmelite Priory, London directed by John McCarthy, from a Readers Digest LP of folk songs with treble soloist Graham Lough.
Graham was one of Ernest Lough's three sons and a choristers at the Temple Church in London but due to his fine treble voice, was often used as a treble soloist on various recordings.
"Green grow the Rushes O" is one of the most historically obscure folk-songs but for now, just enjoy this delightful rollicking performance!
