This lament features two poor bulls, Chela and Buska, who are sung about by the charioteer. Between the lines, the suffering and sorrow of man himself, the poor charioteer, is also expressed; he identifies with the bulls. The lyrics of the song are not Georgian but Mingrelian, a Kartvelian (South Caucasian) language spoken in western Georgia.

JIP Chamber Choir is a project choir from Utrecht, the Netherlands, founded in 2013 by brothers Jonathan and Imre Ploeg. JIP wants to present new and unknown choir music from all over the world, brought together in surprising, engaging and fundamental themes like war and peace, the nomadic life, the refugee crisis and the ecological crisis.
