Learning From My Mistakes - My Affair

I have learned many things in my life, most from mistakes. Up until 2016 I could honestly say I virtually always did the right thing and had no regrets in my life. This is my biggest. I was very unhappy in my marriage but felt trapped. I made a terrible decision. I should have had the courage to leave the relationship if I wasn't happy and didn't want to be in the relationship anymore, but I wasn't strong enough to do so and it led me to the biggest and most regrettable mistake of my life. There is never an excuse to cheat on a partner. No matter how unhappy, even if you are emotionally or physically abused, whatever the reason you always have a choice. Don't make the same mistake I did. Please learn from my mistake. Sadly my life has been lived in the public eye. While that comes with many positives, this is a big negative. I have been very judgmental of people previously and now I am the one having to take the judgments. I don't blame anyone who has judged me negatively. It was 100% my fault and I take responsibility for it. I wish I could change the past, but I can't. All I can do is make sure I never make the same mistakes again and focus on being the absolute best person I can be for the rest of my life. I am more motivated than ever to live a good life of integrity. This is a dark stain on me, I'm fully aware of that. But I want to live the rest of my life so that this is a footnote, rather than the headline of my life. I know I have a lot of work to do. But when you know better, you can do better. I hope this video can help some of you who perhaps maybe in a similar situation that I was.
