You don't know the Unforgiven (this Unforgiven anyways...). There are plenty that bare the title, but there was one odd, little band from Inland Empire, California that took the world by storm—almost. The Unforgiven never actually had a single hit. The concept of lead singer Steve "John Henry" Jones, the Unforgiven never got much beyond a concept. But they had their brief blaze of glory. The band founds its origins in Eastcoast punk, but, for a moment, it rose far above that. The Unforgiven were "The Next Big Thing", until they weren't. Yet, a cowboy never calls it quits.

So lets catalogue the fascinating ghost dance of a "No Hit Wonder".
