Worship, a Response to Grace | Genesis 8:13-22 | #NewBeginning #Uncertainty #Grace #Worship

✨After the flood, Noah faced dry land. While there was gratitude and joy, the future life ahead would have been uncertain.✨

God, knowing Noah's heart, spoke first: "Be fruitful and multiply."

This command was not just about reproduction, but a calling to live as God's image bearers, caring for the created order.

God, who always bestows grace, does not demand anything new or special from us.

He only asks us to respond appropriately to His grace, to live in reverence of God, and to care for the world while reflecting His character.

Let us live a life that pleases God by obeying this clear request.

## Sermon Summary Key Points

### Content Summary
✦ Throughout Noah's story, God proactively led the history of salvation. After the water receded in the first month of the six hundredth year and the ground was completely dry in the second month, God told Noah to come out of the ark and gave him the same command given to Adam: "Be fruitful and multiply."
✦ This command was not simply about reproduction but a stewardship mission to care for God's created order, to be good beings reflecting God's character as His image bearers, to make God the standard of life, and to live in reverence of God.

### Noah's and God's Attitude and Posture
✦ As soon as Noah came out of the ark, he built an altar to the Lord and offered burnt offerings with clean animals and birds, expressing his gratitude for God's grace and his determination to obey through action, showing that he kept God at the center of his life even in the new environment.
✦ God, knowing Noah's uncertainty, first provided direction, gave clear guidance for the new beginning, gladly received Noah's worship, and despite knowing human wickedness, showed grace by promising never to curse the ground again and assuring the continuity of natural order.

### Lessons for Us
✦ We should make God, not ourselves, the center and standard of our lives, live as good stewards reflecting God's character, and respond appropriately to God's grace through basic obedience rather than seeking special things.
✦ Like Noah, we should worship God first in moments of new beginnings and changes, worship God wholeheartedly with our best offerings, and live a life of worship by thanking God in all situations and revealing God's character through love and service.
