## Summary
✨Knowing God's will is different from obeying it. True faith is obedience, not calculation, and a consistent choice toward the Kingdom of God.✨

Even as you say you know God's will, are you still living while holding on tightly to your own greed?

Abner knew that God had chosen David, but because of his own desire for power and greed, he continued to hold onto the house of Saul.

However, the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker, while the house of David, chosen by God, grew stronger and stronger. Knowing this, Abner eventually tried to hand the kingdom over to David.

On the outside, it seemed as if he was following God's will, but at the very center of that choice was his own interest, not God. He was packaging his desire with the language of faith.

Jesus did not seek His own benefit but obeyed the Father's will until the very end. The cross is not a path of living according to greed, but a path of living as one who belongs entirely to God.

Do not weigh benefits and losses, but stand quietly and firmly on God's side. Let us live with our eyes fixed toward the eternal Kingdom of God, not toward this perishing world.
