Mako Pixhawk VTOL MC to FW Transition Flight Test 1 021717

I made some modifications on the original build to clean up the installation of some components. Major props to @dagar with the PX4 Dev team that has helped me

tremendously!

- Removed the GPS folding stand to make room for the VTx.
- I also installed a Biteye FPV camera with built-in DVR and VTx for full OSD and telemetry functionality.
- Mounted the Pitot Tube in a 3D-Printed mount. - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:405444
- Relocated the 3DR Telemetry radio and antenna to the bottom of wing to give way for the GPS puck.
- The vertical fins were moved about 1.875" get it farther from the propellers and was able to just minimally notch it for prop clearance.
- The rear quad motors were turned 180 degrees so that the props are mounted on top. I was able to then remove the aft skid.
- Since Thrust to Weight ration only needed to be between 1.3 and 1.6, I changed the props to self-locking 3-bladed 9.4 x 5 Props that provides about 1.4 ratio that suffices

for VTOL process.

There are still some tweaking that need to be done with parameters to hone in a more stable and reliable flight characteristics. Hopefully, all this will lead to good

autonomous flight behavior.
