Recently, Tesla announced its fourth quarter and full year delivery report for 2020, and the data shows: Tesla produced 509,737 electric vehicles in 2020 and delivered 499,550, achieving 99.91% of its annual delivery target of 500,000 vehicles.
For its part, Tesla said that in 2020, Tesla China had a very bright performance. The Shanghai super factory is meeting the needs of the Chinese market while also making its products available to European consumers. Also in January 2021, the Model Y was officially launched and will be delivered to customers shortly.
According to data released by the Passenger Association, the cumulative sales of Model 3 in China from January to November 2020 have exceeded 110,000 units.
Following the successive launches of Model 3 and Model Y on Chinese soil, the ecological assessment of the Tesla Super Factory in Shanghai recently revealed that three new Tesla vehicles will be produced at the Chinese electric car factory in the future. One of them, a low-priced Tesla EV priced at around $25,000, will be mass-produced at the Shanghai Super Factory as early as 2022.
