How to replace the oil sump/oil pan on your Audi A6 C6. There are 18 screws and 2 of them are a bit tricky to reach, so an inspection camera is a good tool. According to the Audi manual, these 18 screws are supposed to be replaced as they extend with pressure. We are taking the sump/pan off to get to the EA113 engine oil pump, known for its manufacturing defect, as oil pump failure can kill the engine without any warning.
