Sea Turtle Rescue in Kenya

Our team in Kenya, while conducting their pilot drone study, chanced upon a turtle entangled in a fishing line.

We are very grateful to all those involved - The Estuary Lounge, Diani, and the fishermen who responded to our call for help, and wasted no time in getting to the scene.

Through this chance rescue operation, we have realised that a drone can have many benefits - from helping us with our research to even spotting entangled and distressed marine life.
