Rod Liddle: It's difficult for Conservatives to be appointed to public bodies

Journalist Rod Liddle says "it is very difficult for anyone to be appointed to a public body if they are a conservative."

Speaking to Kevin O'Sullivan on talkRADIO he said "we saw it with the late Roger Scruton when he was removed from a planning board for developing houses in the country."

He added "I don't think there's anything wrong with" Tony Abbott's appointment as a government adviser on trade.
