LOG CABIN Project (The Mechanical Building 1) - Wk 17

This week I am framing a small, detached, mechanical building. I am doing this for a couple of reasons. First, the interior footprint of the cabin is quite limited and I want it to be dedicated to living space only. Secondly, I like adequate room around my mechanical equipment for ease of maintenance.

This little building will house a small boiler and a couple of circulation pumps, the well pressure tank and related equipment, a small electric hot water heater, and a small water softener (if needed). I will have space to store extra water softener salt and repair parts.

This building will be heated by a radiant, concrete floor through a small heat exchanger

I am pleased to introduce you to the Fairbanks State Fair. It is an enjoyable way to spend an evening with my family, as well as meet up with old friends. Also, I had to brag a little on some of our local talent. The Pretzel Chef and Rocky's Killer Shrimp! Simply outstanding.
