Arunima Sinha is the world's first female amputee to climb Everest. She was not an amputee by birth. She was a Volley ball champion but sincethere is no career in Volley ball in India, she could not grow. Arunima Sinha applied for CISF exam and so, for some purpose was going to Delhi from Lucknow in Padmavati express. In the train there were few thieves who were stealing goods. Arunima Sinha was wearing a gold chain. They tried to fetch it from her. Arunima resisted, so they pushed her out from train. She fell on railway line and one leg was cut under the train. WHole night Arunima was lying there. No one was around so no one came for help. Next day she was taken to hospital by nearby people.
