I was cycling along, I saw the car, wondered if they had seen me, they seemed to pause so I assumed they were letting me go then just pulled out with no regard for my safety from outside a school. Now, I travel this way daily so expect this kind of crap driving but this one just felt a bit too close and got the old adrenaline going.

The woman on the zigzags bore the wrath of my anger as there were plenty of spaces but she still stopped outside the school, on the zigzags. I shouldn't have swore but the close miss had my heart beating and quite frankly I'm annoyed that people continually do this. I know people with children at two of the three schools there and I almost saw one child I know hit by a car going too fast as she was trying to cross. These are supposed to be safety spots but abused by parents. For the benefit of doubt, the school immediately opposite is for additional needs children, many of whom are in wheelchairs and collected by specialist transport so that's not her excuse for parking there.

I expected the ford to be long gone by the time I got to the end of the road but it was there and I was still very angry. I told them that they pulled out in front of me and the very polite lady told me I was an ahss-sole that was all over the road in quite a plumy voice, I said I wasn't (I meant over the road - judge the rest yourself) and she repeated it, I told her I had video footage. Anyway, I decided it wasn't worth arguing with her and rather rudely told her where to go.

I was still shaking an hour later.
