3 Ways to Say Merry Christmas in Italian 🎄

🎄Wishing you a Merry Christmas🎄

1. The most common Italian Christmas greeting is: Buon Natale! - Literally, Good or Happy Christmas

2. A more neutral alternative to this is Buone feste! which literally means ‘Happy holidays’

3. Auguri! Or Tanti auguri! These literally mean ‘wishes’ and ‘many wishes’ respectively. This is a versatile greeting which can be used for other special occasions too, such as birthdays, anniversaries or to congratulate someone on having a baby, getting married, graduating and much more.

And what do you say in response to all of these greetings?

You say ‘Grazie Altrettanto!’, which means 'Thank you, and to you!' or 'Thank you, same to you!'.

Which one of these greetings will you use? Let me know in the comments👇💬
