Seeing, Faith, and Gratitude (Luke 17:11-19)

People sometimes say, "Oh I see," when they aren't talking about seeing anything with their eyes. Instead they mean that they understand or get it. I wonder if that is what happens when Jesus "saw" the ten lepers or when one of those lepers saw that he had been healed. No doubt both of them literally saw something, but I think Luke may well have meant the other sort of see as well. All 10 lepers must have seen that they were healed, but only one, when he saw, was filled with gratitude. Are we grateful? Would we be more likely to be grateful is we really saw? (Video is not up to regular standards because one AV person was on vacation and the other was sick.)
