Puerto Rico Travel Updates May 24 - June 6, 2021 | NO CURFEW | Travel Puerto Rico

New Travel Updates for Puerto Rico starting Monday, May 24, 2021 and will be in effect until June 6, 2021.

NO Curfew!

Masks covering mouth & nose, as well as social distancing, are required in public. Fully vaccinated people are not required to wear masks at beach or while exercising outdoors.

No restrictions for motorized watercraft, marinas, or individual watercraft such as kayaks, stand-up paddleboard (SUP), and jet skis. Boats are not allowed to tie up to each other and must maintain 10 feet distance from each other.

No restrictions for the Culebra and Vieques ferries. Online tickets may be purchased at https://porferry.com/

AMA buses & Tren Urbano will operate with COVID restrictions

Beaches, pools & bodies of water (rivers, lakes, etc) are permitted to be open from 5am to Midnight. Pools allowed open at 50% occupancy. Masks are required for non vaccinated people all the time while not in the water. Social distance of 10 feet required between groups on beaches and bodies of water.

Restaurants, movie theatres, gyms, casinos, retail Stores, businesses & banks may be open 5am to Midnight at 50% capacity. Supermarkets are exempt from the limited % occupancy, but must maintain physical distance of people.

Restaurants are limited to 50% capacity indoors, and 100% outdoor dining, with 6 foot distance between tables.

Recreation and Hiking at Angelito Trail is allowed without a reservation, as it is outside the reservation area of the Rainforest. https://youtu.be/UjKJwLKDns8

Party buses, bars & night clubs remain closed.

Ponce (PSE) and Aguadilla (BQN) airports reopened April 2021.

All arriving passengers to Puerto Rico age 2 years old+ are required to submit a travel declaration with contact tracing info, & either proof of vaccination (starting May 25, 2021) or proof of a negative COVID-19 molecular-based (PCR) test. If you don't have proof of either, you will be fined $300 unless you can provide that proof within 48 hour from arrival. Travel Declaration form and instructions at https://www.travelsafe.pr.gov/

The Task Force has given a threshold of less than 100 new infections per day for 14 consecutive days to lift current restrictions. https://www.taskforceciudadano.com/
