Short Hotel Ambiance Tour in Las Nubes Hotel in Holbox, Mexico. Las Nubes is one of my favorite hotels in Holbox for many reasons. It has a stunning sandbank just right in front of the property and the hotel is located right next to the Yum Balam Reserve. Excellent choice for nature lovers.

🚍 The bus ride from Cancun takes about 2 hours on the bus and you will be dropped off in Chiquila. Once you arrive in Holbox by ferry from Chiquila, you may want to walk to your hotel yourself or ask one of the buggy drivers to take you to your hotel. Las Nubes is pretty far from the ferry station (is about 20 minutes on foot.) since Las Nubes is the very last hotel if you are going up north, but being the closest to Yum Balam Reserve.

(Remember: No bitumen streets in Holbox but sand, mud, potholes & some pavement/sidewalks, so if you carry a heavy bag, you might want to hop on a buggy..)
