Modern condensing boilers produce water that is usually drained away in a plastic pipe outside your house. In cold weather this freezes, and eventually the boiler will cut out just when you need it most. This quick fix will get your central heating going again. NOTE some boilers may need to be reset if they have shut down due to this problem. If you take the internal drain hose off the pipe, you will need a bucket to catch the drips!
