Make Candles From Peanut Butter

In a recent video, I showed how to make candles from canned food. http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotati... That video received a lot of feedback. Several subscribers suggested additional possibilities. Yesterday, Dan (BigPappa, http://www.youtube.com/user/1234566bi...) challenged me to make candles from peanut butter. Awesome idea. Thank you, Dan. Peanut butter makes excellent candles. They work best with peanut butter that has separated with oil on top. Peanut butter candles are harder to light for the first time than regular candles. It is important to get the peanut oil hot and begin vaporizing and burning. If your peanut butter is fresh and the oil hasn't separated, you can pour in a little oil on the top of the candle, to act as a primer. After the candle has burned for a few minutes, a dark brown carbonized area will form around the wick; this will hold the wick and make the candle easier to light in the future. The candles burn a long time.

I challenge the YouTube community to experiment with different foods that can be used for candles or fire starters. Make a video response to that shows your results. Experiments that are successful are just as important as those that fail. We learn from both success and failure.
