Many people have been experimenting with these two-wheeled vehicles for years and the results are mind blowing and often times very questionable. From super-efficient to somewhat ridiculous here are the top unusual Bikes You Will see for the First Time.
1. Ner -a-kar bike
What can be better than having a motorcycle that's disguised as a car? Carl Neracher thought it would be an awesome idea to design a feet-forward motorcycle with an unusual chassis. It look s almost exactly the same as a car, getting the name Ner-a-kar as in 'nearly a car'. This awesome invention is a massive hit in the hub-center steering motorcycle. Few models of This unusual bike such as the Yamaha GTS1000 or Bimota Tesi sold like crazy over the years. The Ner-A-Car Corporation in America sold around 10,000 Ner -a-kars and England sold around 6,500 between 1921 and 1926.
2. BMW GS
The BMW is well known for their top-notch cars but they are also great at building motorcycles. In fact, they’ve made one of the most unusual bikes in the world. With the Led light design the unusual bike looks dope and the lights are adaptable which ensures maximum visibility. Among the other luxury features, there are seat heaters and seven driving modes that provide the ultimate comfort in any driving situation. This crazy bike has all the top-notch technologies that a passionate rider can dream of.
3. Dyson-inspired motorcycle
Now let's time travel from the vintage era to the future. This futuristic road bike looks well suited for out-of-the-world technologically advanced aliens. The inverter, Busri got inspired by Dyson’s bladeless fan and decided to get rid of all the spokes from his bike wheels leaving them completely hollow in the middle. The only con of the bike is that the seats look a little uncomfortable. The bike is still a concept but we must admire the creativity behind the idea and hopefully, we’ll see these bad boys running on the streets soon enough.
4. Captain America chopper
No, it's not what you think. It's not an actual chopper. It’s an elegant-looking bike. This bike stands out no matter where it goes and for good reason. The supermoto was used in the 1969 film Easy Rider and saying that it made the audience's heart racing would be an understatement. Actor Peter Fonda took an active part in the bike's design and even provided the stock 1952 Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glide which he bought from a police auction. The sad part is the bike got stolen right before the film's release.
5. Akira bike
Among all the gadgets that can actually exist in a bike, the Akira bike has almost all of them. Shotaro Kaneda built a bike that can be the role model of future bikes. The bike is not only one of the most technologically advanced bikes, but it's also one of the costliest and most time-consuming bike-building projects. It costed Shotaro and his team around $121,000 and took about 7 years to build. The bike is currently on a tour across Japan with Masashi Teshima who is trying to raise money for a children's autism charity.
6. Lazareth LM847 Quad motorcycle
This bike looks very little like a bike more like something else. This is by far the most unusual motorcycle ever. Instead of having the usual two wheels like any other bike, this one has 4. Another defining feature of the Lazareth LM847 is the Maserati engine which is also something no other bike has. The engine is a 4.7L V8 with 470 hp. Other than these two features it has everything else like any other regular bike such as handlebars, a low-slung saddle, the ability to lean, and distinctive headlamps.
7. Uno Dicycle
This weird bike is probably the funniest looking bike that you must see to believe. It's so cartoonish looking that it's a wonder how it balances itself. The bike has its wheels side by side defying all the norms of a regular bike. Uno III even has three side-by-side wheels making it a tricycle. The bike is balanced by the rider's forward-leaning motion which shifts the weight over the center of gravity. Once the rider leans forward the bike gains speed and balance. In the same way, when the rider leans back, the vehicle loses speed.
8. Kiwano ko 1 modern
Are you tired of sitting around all day, even when you’re driving or riding a bike? Fear not because we have the perfect solution for you. Meet one of the amazing inventions in the bike world, Kiwano ko 1 modern. At the first glance, the unusual bike doesn't even look like a bike. It only has one wide wheel, one single stem, non-pivoting handlebars, and no seat. There is also no throttle or brakes meaning you have to control the whole thing with your body movement. The bike may not look much, it’s extremely fun to ride even though there's a bit of a learning curve.
