20 Times Humans Messed with the Wrong Animals

Humans are practically defenseless without tools when animals attack. Most animals face the threat of predation. To avoid the risk of being injured, animals employ tactics to fool predators – in some cases that's us, the humans. Here are 20 times humans messed with the wrong opponent.
1. Lion attack reporter
A travel writer was lucky to escape with minor injuries after his venture into a lion's den turned ugly. British journalist Charles Starmer Smith visited the South African wildlife park to "play" with one-year-old lion Mapimpan — whose name translates to "little baby". But while he was rubbing the big cat's stomach, playtime quickly turned vicious when the lion clenched its massive jaws onto Starmer Smith's leg and clawed at his jumper. Mapimpan's keeper desperately tried to intervene, slapping at the animal and slapping it on the nose. This was one unbelievable animal attack all of a sudden that was caught on tape.
2. Kangaroo attack
According to The Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management kangaroos can be aggressive towards people, and advises that if approached by an aggressive kangaroo, people should keep it at a distance so that it cannot kick or scratch. Look at this Kangaroo, he is in the boxing state with the man. One interesting fact is he is the man who raised this wild animal after his mother was terminated on the road in Western Australia.
3. Baby elephant attack
This baby elephant is not really liking this man. This guy's trying to film a very important message — but this wrong opponent would rather play! This man from the documentary prioritized playing with the baby elephant over making the video as well. This man is smiling all through the video and enjoying his time to the fullest. Elephants are usually peaceful yet sometimes the most dangerous animals. Females may, however, be aggressive when young calves are present. However, if an attack is followed through, an elephant is quite capable of terminating another elephant, other animals including humans, or wrecking cars.
4. Deer vs. man
Incredible videos show a red deer stag appearing to attack a man who it is claimed had been feeding the wild animals by hand in wild nature. There are 200 fatalities and over 10,000 injuries yearly by deer accidents. The odds of hitting a deer with a car in the US are 1 in 116. West Virginia has been a leader in deer accidents for 12 consecutive years. Deer terminate approximately 120 people a year. Maybe this isn’t that horrific situation in this video yet this human messed with the wrong animal for sure.
5. komodo dragon attack
If there is a Guinness World Record of the world’s craziest game shows, Japan will be the record holder. There is a Japanese TV show where a woman tied a slab of meat to her and outrun a giant komodo dragon. This woman has to wear a traditional kimono to take the challenge. This is definitely not a joke because the komodo will eat the woman after he finished the slab of meat. As the giant Komodo accelerates towards the meat, the prankster sprints off and runs as fast as possible to the finish line. This dangerous animal was messed with a human caught on camera in the national geographic channel.
6. 17. Rhino attacks human
There are animals that mess with the wrong opponent in the world. One amazing fact is few caught on video. A Scottish student has described the terrifying moment he was attacked by a rare black rhino on a conservation trip in South Africa. The 21-year-old was rammed by the 1,500kg female with her calves and trapped against a tree. As she turned around to come back, one of her calves then trampled his leg. A keen conservationist since he discovered the WWF Save the Rhino campaign when he was nine years old, Kieran has been living in South Africa for almost two years.
7. Stag chases man
This incredible footage shows an unlucky man who got too close to a testosterone-fuelled stag and was forced to take refuge up a tree. The scene took place in West London. The man was trapped after he wandered too close to two stags facing each other down, prompting one to break off from his showdown and chase him. At this time, the large males roar, bark and clash antlers in a spectacular way in an attempt to fight off rivals and attract as many females as possible. The panicked man desperately trying to keep a fenced-off tree between him and the enraged, powerful beast's antlers.
