This video is an experiment. It was originally supposed to be a slide show of my black and white images but it turned into an exploration of the transition from monochrome to colour and from the still image to the moving image. All photos and video clips are from my Manchester and Salford archive, plus a few taken on Friday 7 May 202. Click to see subtitles in English and German.
