Today we explore Staunton State Park, Colorado's newest state park. Staunton State Park is a Colorado state park in Park and Jefferson counties, located 6 miles west of Conifer, Colorado. The 3,908-acre park, which opened on May 18, 2013, includes dramatic rock outcroppings, several streams and a waterfall.

I hike on the Mason Creek trail up to the Bear Paw loop and the three overlooks located there, Catamount, Pike's Peak, and Eagle Cliffs Overlooks.
