Corrientes, land of the jaguar - EP 3: Diana Frete

DIANA, A NEIGHBOR OF THE JAGUAR · Since she was born, Diana Frete has lived in Colonia Carlos Pellegrini, a town near Iberá Lagoon. She is a songwriter and singer—you can listen to her voice in the opening of this series—, cultural agent, and vice-mayor of the town she knows as profoundly as the Iberá Wetlands, where she shares with visitors cultural moments, her love for the land, and her pride for local traditions.

#Rewilding brings back missing species to their righteous ecosystems. As they return, these species, like the jaguar, awaken new stories within the local communities that will become part of the local culture.

These stories reveal a new reality based on respect for the intrinsic value of biodiversity, reciprocity, and coexistence. A new reality that invites us to recuperate our ability to marvel at the mystery and beauty of the wild.
