Heavy Metal Machining Part 2

We continue on with the machining of the large gearbox shaft. This video will show all of the heavy turning, and finishing of the shaft in the American Pacemaker lathe.
I use the ISCAR LNMX tool for most of the rough turning, but also include some turning with an ISCAR COMG 643 turning tool. Material is 4140 heat treated and stress relieved.
This shaft goes into a large reducer.
