Longannet Power Station - Abandoned
Built in the early 1970s Longannet was once Scotland's biggest power stations fuelling over 2 million Scottish homes. Since the move to cleaner, greener energy, Longannet's reign has come to an end and the power plant closed for good in 2016. Here we take a brief look at the history of Longannet followed by a look at some of the remaining abandoned buildings on site.
