Rugeley Power Station 600ft CHIMNEY DEMOLITION! - 24/01/2021

At 8:30am on Sunday 24th January 2021, a 600ft (183m) chimney was DEMOLISHED at Rugeley Power Station in Staffordshire. This power station was taken out of service in 2016 with various different parts already demolished. In this video I head to a field close to Rugeley Power Station to capture the moment that this iconic piece of the Staffordshire skyline fell to the ground!

Later this year the 4 cooling towers will also be demolished and I plan to cover this demolition here on AdventureShawn!
