Modeling Cribbing and the Chama Sand House in 1:20.3 Scale

We are modeling the cribbing on our logging railroad in 1:20.3 scale. AND Steve came by with the Chama sand house model to test the fit and look at the engine shops.

We are waiting for wood and rail to lay track so we have moved on to the cribbing along the 3-foot gauge logging line. Log cribbing below the grade, timber cribbing above. The log cribbing is made from sticks and dowels, the timber cribbing from 1/4 inch square dowels.

The fill behind the cribbing is kitty litter!! Looks great!

And Steve Strebel came by with the model of the Chama sand house. I have been modeling the coating tower and he is building the sand house for the locomotive shops.
